Bio:
Rhonda Hardy has an Early Childhood Degree in Education from Mercer University. She started her teaching career in 1990 in public school and joined the Tattnall family in 1998. She has taught K-5, 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades. She is currently teaching 3rd grade and says it is a perfect fit for her. "Third grade is so exciting.... from communities and minerals to fractions and adjectives! Every year has been exciting and memorable, as I have been lucky to teach such wonderful students."
On a personal note, Mrs. Hardy is from Forsyth, Ga. She married Keith Hardy, and they have been married for 29 years. They have a daughter and a son. Kendall is a Tattnall alum, Class of 2015, and Griffin is Class of 2022. Keith and Rhonda know the importance of education and chose Tattnall for their children because of the rich tradition Tattnall has in education and the strong Christian environment. They are also actively involved in their church, Piedmont Church.
When Mrs. Hardy is not working, she enjoys spending time with family, watching movies, and eating. She is a huge sports fan. She feels many lessons about life can be learned on a playing field. She promotes an atmosphere of safety, trust, and respect, and she emphasizes the idea of teamwork among her students. She says, "I believe great things can happen when we work together as a team!"
