2020-2021 Learning Plan

Tattnall Square Academy will return to school as planned on Thursday, August 13.

Our Leadership Team has had ongoing discussions and planning sessions regarding the start of the upcoming school year, and we are looking forward to seeing you on August 13. In the links below, you will find documents that further clarify our current plans and expectations.
Lunch Menu
The dining services are provided by a private staff who caters breakfast, lunch, and dinner for the TSA Cafe. Breakfast is served daily beginning at 7:30 a.m., and menus are posted to make your weekly lunch planning convenient. 
Tattnall is pleased to offer parents the ability to manage their child’s meal account online. TSA uses to allow parents to log in at any time to make a deposit to their child’s account, view lunch account balances, set up recurring deposits, set up email notifications for account balances, or request a detailed report showing purchase history. Log on to and enter your unique school code to access this information. Student lunch codes can be accessed through Mrs. Cheek in the Business Office at ext. 100.

Weekly Emails

The marketing and communications office sends out weekly emails via Constant Contact every Monday during the school year. This email contains all relevant information for the current week and shows upcoming events for remainder of the month. If you have not received an email from TSA, via Constant Contact, please contact Michael DuVall at to address any email communication issues.

Text Message Alerts

Be sure to sign up for text alerts from TSA! Alerts are sent out for inclement weather announcements, important reminders, or any other urgent news. To join this service, text @Tattnall to (404) 620-3223.

Spirit Shop Hours

Spirit Shop Hours 

Monday – Friday
7:30 – 9:00 & 2:00 – 3:45
Any changes to Spirit Shop hours will be noted in the announcements.
New procedure for visiting the Spirit Shop:
In the morning, enter through the doors by the P.E. gym and stop there for a temperature check.
In the afternoon from 2:00 p.m. – 2:30 p.m., check in through the Lower School office. After 2:30 p.m., go straight to the Spirit Shop where you will get your temperature checked before entering.
Masks must be worn at all times.
Media Center

The Joe B. Hill Media Center is open from 7:45 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. Contact Mrs. Stacy Chambers if you have questions regarding AR, book selections, or other media center programs.

Dress Code Information

Shop Lands’ End for approved uniform styles and options.  You can also sign up for the Lands’ End e-newsletter to receive sale notices and coupons. Our school code for Lands’ End is 900127457.

  • Lands’ End polo or oxford shirt with Tattnall logo (black, gray, navy, pink, cobalt/royal, maize/gold, chambray blue or white) tucked in at all times.
  • Long or short sleeve t-shirts under uniform shirts (solid royal, navy, white, or gray) with no lettering or printing
  • Khaki or navy pants with basic front and back pockets and belt loops, worn at natural waistline with a belt
  • Khaki or navy shorts with basic front and back pockets and belt loops, worn at natural waistline 
  • Shorts must be fingertip length
  • No Chubbies, 
  • No PFG or other fishing shorts
  • No cargo pants or shorts
  • No elastic cuffs 
  • No denim material
  • No athletic shorts
  • No distressed, ripped, or frayed clothing
  • No clothing with holes


  • Lands’ End collared shirt with Tattnall logos (black, gray, navy, pink, cobalt/royal, maize/ gold, chambray blue, pink or white)

Grades K3-5:

  • Boys are to wear white, maize (gold), or cobalt (royal) polos with the Tattnall logo and solid Khaki or Navy pants or shorts with belt loops (purchased from the store of your choice) on chapel days.    
  • Girls are to wear white, maize (gold), or cobalt (royal) polos with the Tattnall logo and solid khaki or navy pants, skirts, skorts, shorts, jumpers or approved Lands’ End plaid skirts on chapel days.

Grades 6-12:

  • Girls are to wear Lands’ End plaid uniform skirts and oxford shirts (light blue, white, or yellow) with the Tattnall logo on chapel days.
  • Boys are to wear khaki colored pants (no shorts) with belt loops, belts, and white, light blue, or pin-striped oxford shirts with the Tattnall logo.  Shirts must be tucked in and worn with a tie or bowtie that is of the same plaid as the young ladies skirts or is of school colors only (blue and/or gold).  
  • NO outerwear will be permitted on chapel days with the exception of a navy sports coat for boys and a navy blue cardigan for girls.  


  • Students in K3 – 5th grade must follow the dress codes above unless exception is noted.
  • For students in K3, K4, K5, tucking shirts in, however, is not a requirement due to their young age, but encouraged, if possible. Tennis style shoes are preferred for every child of this age. Putting the child’s name inside the outerwear is also helpful and suggested.
Summer Reading Selections & AR Testing Dates

Middle/Upper School


Lower school students (rising 2nd and up) enrolled in Summer Daycare will have the opportunity to go to the Computer Lab to test at least once a week.

Summer AR Testing Dates and Times:

ALL Students who are rising 2nd -5th graders may continue to take AR quizzes from home. The school will send out an update if this changes with available testing dates and times to come to the Media Center.  Rising 4th-5th grade students should NOT test over their REQUIRED books until they return to school.  This will take place in the classroom with their teachers.  However, they are allowed to test over any other books they read for pleasure.
