Our Stories

  • Everybody supported and encouraged each other to do their best and never settle in the classroom or on the fields. Our teachers held us accountable in order to prepare us for the challenges we will face in the future. Tattnall means family, and I am truly blessed to be a part of this family even after graduation.

  • Ms. Dykes really helped me develop and pushed me to be a great writer and student in all areas of learning/life. My college professors were very impressed with my papers, and I believe that is a testament to the incredible job Tattnall's entire English department does on a yearly basis.

    - Grant Nicholson ‘11

  • A grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty and they complete life's cycle of love. That is why I am so grateful that my grands attend a Christian school that also excels academically. Tattnall Square Academy is a priceless gift in this ever changing world in which we live.

    - Sandy Stembridge, Grandparent

  • We love Tattnall! Not only is it our Alma Mater, but it is also our home away from home. We love that our children are in a Christian environment where they can learn about and freely speak the name of Jesus. (Abbie '25, Alex '29)

    - Lauren & Zach Thomas, '00 & '97

  • Tattnall provides opportunities that allow students to be well rounded, whether it is on the playing field or in the classroom. Our children are taught the value of service and giving back. We could not have asked for a better place for our kids to receive a great education and to grow in Christ.

    - Rhonda Hardy

  • For 14 years, I was a part of a school family like no other. My teachers and friends helped me grow into the person I am today. The rigor in my high school classes gave me a glimpse of what college courses wouldbe like. Tattnall fully prepared me for the next phase of my life!

    - Sarah Beth Hankinson ‘16

  • I have been a part of the Tattnall family since 2nd grade. I am the youngest of four sisters who graduated from Tattnall. This school has given me life-long friends and an education that will prepare me for my future. The teachers are very helpful, and I feel like I can talk to them about anything. Tattnall is my home away from home!

  • After teaching math at Tattnall for so many years, I cannot imagine not teaching math and not teaching math at Tattnall. Add the incredible rewards of teaching all three of your children many years ago and teaching three of your grandchildren. You get the equation (it’s all about math) in which the place you work is equal to the place where your family is - your TSA family and your biological family. It’s not all about the math - more importantly, it’s about being in a Christ-centered environment. Tattnall Square Academy will live in the hearts of my family members forever.
