Bio:
Elizabeth (Bass) Hilliard is a “Tattnall Traveler” and graduate of the class of 1996. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Education from Mercer University in 2000. Growing up, she enjoyed eight years of formal watercolor instruction, and can’t remember a time she wasn’t creating something for fun! Throughout her career, she has been a teacher, math tutor, founded a personalized stationery business, fulfilled commissioned paintings, licensed her designs, and for the last 9 years has been leading the art company she founded, Truth Be Told Art. Her mission was to grow a team that could “teach people how to paint and get God’s Truth on it” to encourage people’s hearts as they looked at their art in their homes. Currently, this company is all over the southeast and has painted with almost 100,000 people! She has a deep love for painting and being creative which she hopes to share with her students to help them find their artistic inspiration in the world. Elizabeth married her high school sweetheart, Lance Hilliard (Class of 1993), whom she started dating while they were classmates in HS Art Class at Tattnall, so it’s special to see it all come full circle! They are thankful to have 3 children who are currently getting an excellent education as Tattnall students.
