Tattnall is a family. The faculty and staff truly love and care about each other and the students and their families as well.
Bio:
Stacey LaVinka was born in East Point, Georgia and was raised in the suburbs of Atlanta. She graduated from Bible Baptist Christian School in Riverdale, GA in May of 1995. After graduating high school, she attended Pensacola Christian College to receive her Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education in May of 1999. Stacey loves watching and playing sports! She played basketball, softball, and volleyball throughout her high school and college years. On Saturdays in the fall, Stacey is cheering on her team, the Georgia Bulldogs.
Stacey is married to Paul LaVinka who is a Henry County Firefighter. They have been married since June of 2001 and have three children, Jake, Mackenzie, and Caden. Stacey’s children also have a love for sports. Jake and Caden have participated in a variety of sports, but their passion is football. Mackenzie is also an amazing athlete playing both basketball and volleyball. Their family attends church in Macon, GA at Mikado Baptist Church. Stacey has served in both the AWANA’s program and the Children’s Church ministry over the years.
Mrs. LaVinka has been teaching and/or coaching since August of 1999. Stacey has taught Physical Education and Kindergarten as well as coached many sport teams. Coach LaVinka joined the Tattnall family in July 2023 teaching 2nd grade and coaching Middle School Volleyball.
