What Do You Love Most about Tattnall?

Bio:

Mrs. Myers joins the Tattnall family after being retired for nine years following thirty-two successful years in the classroom. She received her BS in ECE from Georgia State University, and her Masters in Education from the University of West Georgia. The majority of her career she taught Kindergarten. Just before retiring she was a reading/math intervention teacher and English as a Second Language teacher. After retiring, she served as the Reading/Writing Coach at Piedmont Technical College in Covington, Ga. She and her husband Bill moved to Macon five years ago. Her son, Reid Waters, graduated with a BS in Music Education from Auburn University and is currently working for IBM as well as being a Sergeant in the National Guard Band in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She is also stepmom to Billy, Nick and Keith Myers. Three of her four children actively serve in the military. She and her husband also have four grandsons. In her spare time...when not visiting grand babies, she and Bill love to kayak and travel.

Fun Fact:

I attended the same elementary school in North Carolina as my parents and grandparents, Mulberry Street Elementary.
