MACON, Ga. – The GHSA released the 2014-2015 Class A Private State Baseball brackets this afternoon. The Trojans, who held on to their first place power ranking and earned a #1 seed in the tournament, will face Athens Academy in the first round.
“I think it’s going to be an exciting experience to compete in the GHSA State Tournament. I know the competition is going to be better, and we are going to work as hard as we can for Tattnall Square Academy. We know that Athens Academy comes from a very competitive Region 8, which has placed 5 teams in the Top 16 State Tournament. Our team is looking forward to the challenge,” noted Coach Joey Hiller.
The Trojans will play a double header at home this Friday, May 1, at 3:00 p.m. A third game will be played on Saturday at 3:00 p.m. if necessary. Admission is $7.00 for all attendees.
