Macon, GA. – The Tattnall family is proud to announce that Nick DiPonzio, a rising senior, has verbally committed to play baseball at Division I Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Wake Forest’s baseball team, the Demon Deacons, finished the 2015 season at 27-26.

Nick has diligently prepared and worked hard for the opportunity to play Division I baseball, and he had a great summer of baseball, during which Wake Forest scouted him several times.

“Nick will be a great fit for their program, as he is a very conscientious student and athlete,” said Joey Hiller, Tattnall Square Academy’s baseball coach.

The Wake Forest coaching staff has expressed their excitement to have Nick in their program and have high expectations of him. Nick will join the team for their 2017 baseball season in the Atlantic Coastal Conference.
