Macon, GA. – Contractors and parent volunteers have been working furiously on several remodeling projects and improvements that are set to debut this coming August. If you have been on campus lately, you have probably noticed quite a few changes already. One of the largest and most needed improvements is Phase 1 of the roof repair that is now happening on the back portion of our campus. Phase 2 and Phase 3 are set to be completed over the next few years.

Around campus, parent volunteers have removed old sets of lockers and painted interior and exterior walls to create a fresh and open campus setting. Seating areas around TSA, the business office, and the Joe B. Hill Media Center have also received a modern look with the addition of new furniture.
Other upgrades include an overhaul of the Lakecrest Drive entrance and heavy signage in and around campus.
“We are thrilled to debut these campus changes to our Tattnall family. The Beautification Committee and our parent volunteers have been a true blessing, and their hard work will not go unnoticed when the doors open on August 12 for orientation and open house,” remarked Head of School, Dr. Brenda Shuman-Riley.
Returning student orientation and new student open house are scheduled for August 12.
