What Do You Love Most about Tattnall?

Family atmosphere

After high school graduation, Hiller went on to play baseball at Middle Georgia College for two years before transferring to Columbus State University, where he pitched for the Cougars for his final two seasons of collegiate ball. Following graduation, he was drafted in the 18th round of the 1994 Major League Baseball draft by the Milwaukee Brewers. He spent one season playing for their minor league A-ball team, the Beloit Brewers, before a back injury cut his career short. Coach Hiller has been coaching baseball at Tattnall since 1997 and added softball coach to his resume in 2001. He and his wife, Christy, have one daughter named Grace (Class of 2021).

"I think God has put me right where he wants me and I firmly believe I've been called to coach and bring my faith to my teams. I'm in this position to plant those seeds that may develop right away or may develop 10 years down the road, and that's something that's really important to me."
