What Do You Love Most about Tattnall?

I love how everyone has welcomed all of the new faculty and staff with open arms.

Bio:

Jim will begin his 29th year in education and his first at Tattnall in the fall. He has previously taught at Monroe Academy (1988-93), Westfield (93-97), Windsor (97-99), and Mount de Sales (2000-16). He has served as the head basketball coach at Westfield, Windsor and Mount de Sales. In addition to also coaching football, he has coached golf, track, baseball, and girls' soccer. Jim holds a Master's Degree from American Military University in Military History with an emphasis in the Civil War. His undergraduate degree in History is from Georgia College. He married the former Marty Howlett from Roanoke, Va. in 1985 and they recently celebrated their 31st anniversary. They have three daughters. Katie (28) works at the University of Texas Golf Course and in the athletic game day management at the University of Texas in Austin. Ashley (22) is currently completing her nursing and health management degree at Middle Georgia State University. Jamie (20) is going into her junior degree and is majoring in nursing at MGSU.

Fun Fact:

Jim is an army brat who was born in Germany, lived two years in Korea and three years in England. He and Marty met at London Central High School and began dating shortly after.
