What Do You Love Most about Tattnall?

I have felt very welcomed here since joining the faculty last year in January.

I grew up in the Atlanta metropolitan area where I played football, baseball, and wrestled in high school. I attended Wofford College where I played soccer for 4 years and graduated with a double major in English and French. After graduation, I studied in France for a year at the Université de Haute Bretagne
in Rennes, France. While earning a Master’s degree at the University of Kentucky in French Language and Literature I studied Spanish. I served on staff with Campus Crusade for Christ for 3 1⁄2 years at Michigan State University before beginning my 24-year teaching and coaching career teaching French and Spanish in private and public schools in Georgia and Maine.

Fun Fact:

I studied in a professional photography program and have been a wedding, portrait, and sports photographer through the years.

Favorite Verse or Inspiration:

“He is no fool who gives up what he cannot keep, to gain what he cannot lose.” Jim Elliot, who was martyred as he took the Gospel to the Auca Indians in South America.
