Tattnall Square Academy offers a variety of summer camps beginning in June and lasting through the beginning of the school year. Each camp is taught by individual faculty members or TSA coaches.

Voted “Best Summer Camp” by readers of the Macon Telegraph for eight consecutive years, Tattnall summer camps are a great way to stay active during the summer months while learning, having fun, and making new friends! All camps are open to the public.

We do not offer camp scholarships or sponsorships.

Baseball Camp

Tattnall Baseball Camp will focus on the fundamentals of the game with an emphasis on hitting, throwing, catching, defense, pitching, and base running. Campers will learn the “Tattnall Way” in a fun setting where they will get individual attention, video feedback, and be able to learn a strong foundation of skills and drills that they can take with them after they leave camp. Coach Hiller will be the lead instructor and will be assisted by his current Varsity level players.

Summer With Seuss

Come explore the wonderful world of Dr. Seuss as we read, rhyme, play games, create whimsical snacks, and make fun Seuss-inspired crafts! If you are looking for a camp that builds reading skills while having LOTS of FUN, then Summer with Seuss camp is for you! The more you read, the more you will know….the more you learn, the more places you will go! Campers will also take home a list of books read during the week that will count toward their summer reading list/goals.

Musical Theater Camp

Join us as we prepare and rehearse for a musical! Students will learn the fundamentals of theater and acting. Students will also grow in their singing abilities. Campers will hold a performance open to the public at 11:30 p.m. on June 3.

Basketball Camp

This camp will introduce campers to Tattnall Basketball with drills that will improve their fundamentals and skills through fun activities and games.

Driver’s Education

This course will help prepare future drivers with 6 hours of behind-the-wheel driving and 30 hours of classroom instruction. Driving time will be scheduled on an individual basis. By completing this course, your child will have fulfilled the Joshua’s Law requirement to obtain their license and will also be eligible to receive a break on insurance premiums. Additional instruction will include parallel parking, pre-trip inspection, and smartphone navigation.

Cardboard Creativity Camp
It’s amazing what children can create with just their brains and some cardboard! Campers will work together in the Makerspace, becoming innovators as they use the Engineering Design Process to create cardboard arcade games, rockets, robots, and more! If they can imagine it…they can create it!

Extraordinary Games Camp
Are you ready to play futsal, ultimate football, basketball, dodgeball, relays, and other cooperative games? Join us in the P.E. gym for a week filled with excitement, competition, and teamwork as your team strives to be the champion of the day! Each day will be filled with tournament brackets involving the games of the day. Do you have what it takes?

Little Music Makers

Does your child love music? Join us during this three-day camp to have fun with music! We will be playing instruments, singing new songs, learning dances, and playing fun games!

Trojan Football Camp

This youth football camp is intended to provide a fundamental foundation for the game of football within a fun and competitive environment.

Mars Colony

Come join us as we investigate science through role play! Science will come alive as campers assume the active role of astronauts who must prepare for their flight mission, blast off to Mars, and set up a simulated colony on the Red Planet. In this interactive and engaging camp, we will explore science concepts like force, motion, rocketry, needs of plants, properties of water, robotics, and wind energy. Activities include launching rockets, building and programming a Mars rover, conducting science experiments, exploring the power of wind energy, and making slime!

Sweet Treats

Does your child love cake, cookies, and all things sweet? If so, this is the camp for them! From cookies to cake pops, campers will create their own treats and bring home their ‘sweet’ creations daily.

Yoga at the Square (Session 1)

Yoga at the Square is an introductory yoga class for middle and high school students. Taking the time to “be still” is essential to a healthy body and mind, especially for students in the craziness of this world. Together, through fellowship and meditation, we will take a step back and focus on our spiritual, mental, and physical health in a fun and encouraging way.

My Kid Did That! (Art Camp)

This camp is for anyone who has ever wanted to learn more about art. Campers will acquire new skills and create art they will be proud to display. No previous experience is required, and campers should be prepared to come with a willingness to learn and have fun! At the end of the week, they will display their art in a collective art show that is open to family and friends.

Cooking Camp

Campers will gain confidence, independence, basic culinary skills, and kitchen safety skills as they learn to prepare tasty, kid-friendly dishes. Students will also get a chance to TASTE all of their creations! Daily Themes will be 1. BREAKFAST BONANZA, 2. DELICIOUS DESSERTS, 3. PICNIC PALOOZA, 4. LOVELY LUNCHES, and 5. SNACKALICIOUS

Parents’ Night Out (Night 1 – June 16)

American Girl Camp

Come explore the adventures of American girls through crafting, games, and imaginative play with our dolls. Monday: Spa Day, Tuesday: Gymnastics Day, Wednesday: Tea Party Day, Thursday: Camping Day, Friday: Pajama Party Day. Please bring any brand 18-inch doll. All crafting supplies and snacks will be provided! This camp fills up fast, so reserve your spot today!

Middle School Survival Skills

Are you tired of your middle schooler pulling crumpled papers out of a book bag? Are you tired of them not being able to find their work? If so, we’ve got the camp for you! Middle School Survival Skills will help incoming sixth, seventh, and eighth graders survive middle school. We will spend time learning how to organize notebooks and book bags. We will learn typing skills, how to compose an email, team-building activities, and more. Middle School Boot Camp will start each day in Room 108. Come join us to help you become a successful middle school student!

Trojan Spirit Cheer Camp

Attention all future cheerleaders! Join the Varsity cheerleaders for a week full of fun. Our future cheerleaders will learn about all of the cheerleading basics – motions, jumps, sideline chants, dances, and, everyone’s favorite, stunts! We will have a performance for the parents on July 28 at 11:30 a.m. Each camper will receive a t-shirt and will have the opportunity to cheer with the Varsity cheerleaders for one quarter at a TSA football game. A snack will be provided each day. Campers need to bring a water bottle.

Camp Kindergarten

Rising K5 students will learn daily routines, explore the school, practice rules and procedures of the classroom, practice basic skills, and make new friends as they get prepared to be a new kindergarten students at TSA! We will review letters/sounds, write our names, practice cutting/gluing, make crafts, and have snack time and recess!
