Tattnall Square Academy offers a variety of summer camps beginning in June and lasting through the beginning of the school year. Each camp is taught by individual faculty members or TSA coaches.

Voted “Best Summer Camp” by readers of the Macon Telegraph for six consecutive years, Tattnall summer camps are a great way to stay active during the summer months while learning, having fun, and making new friends! All camps are open to the public.

We do not offer camp scholarships or sponsorships.

Baseball Camp

Tattnall Baseball Camp will focus on the fundamentals of the game with emphasis on hitting, throwing, catching, defense, pitching, and baserunning. Campers will learn the “Tattnall Way” in a fun setting where they will get individual attention, video feedback, and be able to learn a strong foundation of skills and drills that they can take with them after they leave camp.

Dates: May 25- May 27| Time: 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. | Grades: K5-8th | Instructor: Coach Joey Hiller will be the lead instructor and will be assisted by his current Varsity level players.  | Cost: $150 | Special Notes: Bring all equipment including tennis shoes. Driver’s Education

This course will help prepare future drivers with 6 hours of behind the wheel driving and 30 hours of classroom instruction. Driving time will be scheduled on an individual basis. By completing this course, your child will have fulfilled the Joshua’s Law requirement to obtain their license and will also be eligible to receive a break on insurance premiums. Additional instruction will include parallel parking, pre-trip inspection, and smart-phone navigation.

E-magination Tech Camp: Lower Elementary
This camp is sure to interest tech savvy students of all ability levels. Each day will focus on a different type of tech such as robots, coding, digital art/media, and circuits. We will learn how to build and code multiple types of robots, learn how to use iMovie and other drawing apps, learn to build working circuits, and much more. So bring your e-magination and let’s have some techtastic fun!

Summer With Seuss
Come explore the wonderful world of Dr. Seuss as we read, play games, create whimsical snacks, and make fun Seuss inspired crafts! If you are looking for a camp that builds reading skills while having LOTS of FUN, then Summer with Seuss camp is for YOU! The more that you read, the more you will know…the more that you learn, the more places you will go! Campers will also take home a list of books read during the week to count toward their summer reading list/goals.

Little Music Makers
Sing, dance, and play! Campers will play instruments, sing songs, play games, learn dances, and have tons of fun!

Team Sports Camp
Are you ready to play ultimate football, basketball, dodgeball, relays, and other cooperative games? Join us in the Athletic Complex for a week filled with excitement, competition, and teamwork as your team strives to be the champion of the day. Each day will be filled with tournament brackets involving the games of the day. Prizes will be rewarded each day!

Trojan Football Camp
This youth football camp is intended to provide a fundamental foundation for the game of football within a fun and competitive environment.

Theatre Camp
Join us as we play fun drama games and rehearse for a musical. Students will also learn about theatre and help with set design and costumes! Our performance will be in Trojan Hall Friday, June 11th at 2:30 p.m.

Imagination Station
This camp will awaken young minds to the wonders of their imagination. Through science activities and experiments, they will learn to enjoy the world around them. We will explore the oceans, find treasures, follow the path of marbles, “follow” rainbows, watch volcanoes erupt, and more! All crafts, activities, and experiments included.

This camp will improve the technique of the participant, and through a variety of fun activities and games, improve their understanding and enjoyment of the beautiful game.

My Kid Did That! Tips, Tricks, And Tools For Artists Of All Ages
This camp is for anyone who has ever wanted to learn more about art. Campers will acquire new skills and create art they will be proud to display. No previous experience is required, and campers should be prepared to come with a willingness to learn and have fun! At the end of the week, they will display their art in a collective art show that is open to family and friends.

Cooking Camp
Campers will gain confidence, independence, basic culinary skills, and kitchen safety skills as they learn to prepare tasty, kid-friendly dishes. Students will also get a chance to TASTE all of their creations! Themes will be 1. Breakfast Bonanza, 2. Delicious Desserts, 3. Picnic Palooza, 4. Lovely Lunches, and 5. Snackalicious

Math Camp
Want 6th grade to be a breeze? In this 6 week long program, you can get a head start on the key concepts we will cover throughout the year. Becoming familiar with concepts like long division, multiplication facts, and fractions, will give you a firm foundation for when we cover them during the school year. Middle school is hard, so let’s make your life easier by obtaining the mathematical foundation you need for success

Girls Just Want To Have Fun
At this camp, students will put their creative energies to use to make their own crafts while enjoying mani/pedis, hair styling, tea parties, decorating, and more! Because GIRLS just want to have FUN! All craft supplies, nail polish, and decorations are included.

American Girl Camp
Come explore the adventures of American girls from colonial times to the present through crafting, games, and imaginative play with the dolls. Please bring your own 18 inch doll (does not have to be AG) All crafting supplies will be furnished.

Basketball Camp
This camp will introduce the campers to Tattnall Basketball with drills that will improve their fundamentals and skills through fun activities and games.

Camp Kindergarten
Rising K5 students will learn daily routines, explore the school, practice rules and procedures of the classroom, practice basic skills, and make new friends as they get prepared to be a NEW kindergarten student at TSA! We will review letters/sounds, writing our name, cutting/gluing, make crafts, and have snack time and RECESS!

A Boy’s Adventureland
Pirates, Dinosaurs, and Legos! Oh My! Campers will use their creative minds to enhance their imagination through superheroes, hot wheels & monster trucks, outside adventures, and much much more, Because boys love their toys and love to play! All craft supplies and games are included.

Time Traveler
Join us on a role-playing journey through time as we board a Time Machine! Each day, students will go back to a period in time where they will engage in exciting activities, learn scientific and historical content, all in order to add another part associated with that time period to the time machine. Campers must add the correct part in order to make it back to the present and avoid being stuck in time!
