Tattnall Square Academy offers a variety of summer camps beginning at the end of May and lasting through the beginning of the school year. Each camp is taught by individual faculty members or TSA coaches.

Voted “Best Summer Camp” by readers of the Macon Telegraph for five consecutive years, Tattnall summer camps are a great way to stay active during the summer months while learning, having fun, and making new friends! All camps are open to the public.

We do not offer camp scholarships or sponsorships.

Driver’s Education 
This course will help prepare future drivers with 6 hours of behind the wheel driving and 30 hours of classroom instruction. Driving time will be scheduled on an individual basis. By completing this course, your child will have fulfilled the Joshua’s Law requirement to obtain their license and will also be eligible to receive a break on insurance premiums. Additional instruction will include parallel parking, pre-trip inspection, and smart-phone navigation.

O.M.G Outstanding Math Goodies
Who said math can’t be fun? Students will be introduced to a variety of skills and standards necessary to be successful in Pre-Algebra through hands-on activities! Come join the math fun!

Summer Maker Days
Come join us in the Makerspace and let your curiosity, inventiveness, and creativity soar as we explore and code robots, build with Legos and K’Nex, make “treasures” from junk, and invent gadgets using simple circuits. If you can imagine it…you can create it!!

Little Music Makers
Sing, dance, and play! Campers will play instruments, sing songs, play games, learn dances, and have tons of fun! We will have a short performance in the music classroom on Friday, May 29th at 11:45 a.m.

Cupcake Wars
Prepare for war….cupcake style! Each day, campers will learn decorating tips and will create and design their own cupcakes. Teams will face off and be judged for best taste, creativity, presentation, and more! If your child loves baking or working in the kitchen, he/she will love this camp! All levels of cupcake expertise are welcome! This will be messy, tasty, and FUN!

Baseball Camp
Tattnall Baseball Camp will focus on the fundamentals of the game with emphasis on hitting, throwing, catching, defense, pitching, and baserunning. Campers will learn the “Tattnall Way” in a fun setting where they will get individual attention, video feedback, and be able to learn a strong foundation of skills and drills that they can take with them after they leave camp. Coach Hiller will be the lead instructor and will be assisted by his current Varsity level players.

Theatre Camp
Join us as we play fun drama games and rehearse for a musical. Students will also learn and help with set design. Our performance will be in Trojan Hall Friday, June 5th at 10 a.m.

Summer With Seuss
Come explore the Wonderful world of Dr. Seuss as we read, play games, create whimsical snacks, and make fun Seuss inspired crafts. If you are looking for a camp that builds reading skills while having lots of FUN, then Seuss Camp is for YOU! The more that you read, the more you will know…the more that you learn, the more places you go!

Boys, Blocks, and Balls
Come spend the week with us as we enjoy all things BOY! We will spend time constructing fabulous creations, such as marshmallow rockets and lava lamps. The little engineers of the group will enjoy building with legos and lincoln logs as well as some surprising materials they may not have ever thought of. The ball player will be excited to spend a part of every morning throwing, bouncing, catching, dunking and chasing balls. Come enjoy a week where we are all about letting little boys be boys!

Trojan Football Camp
This youth football camp is intended to provide a fundamental foundation for the game of football within a fun and competitive environment.

Amazing Animals
Calling all animal lovers! Campers will go on an amazing safari each day as we explore and learn about all different kinds of animals. Our journey will begin by traveling back in time with extinct animals such as dinosaurs! We will continue our journey and discover interesting facts about endangered animals. Next we will explore marine mammals. Our safari will conclude with animals native to Georgia. We will culminate our week with a field trip to the Museum of Arts and Sciences. Arts and crafts, stories, hands on activities, and special snacks will be provided each day.

My Kid Did That! Tips, Tricks, And Tools For Artists Of All Ages
This camp is for anyone who’s ever wanted to learn more about art. Campers will acquire new skills, hone prior knowledge, and create art they will be proud to display. No previous experience is required. Every skill level is welcome. Campers will complete playful and thoughtful assignments daily in their sketchbooks as they work to integrate academic and life skills with art. Campers can rest assured that they will have fun! Be prepared to come with a good attitude and a willingness to learn. Remember, this is camp, not school! At the end of the week, campers will display their art in a collective art show that is open to parents, students, and guests.

Superheroes STEAM Camp
Campers will act as superhero agents to save the city of Metropolis from a band of evil villains while learning the science behind a series of gadgets. Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math activities will be incorporated as we work as a team to eliminate each threat and save the city.

Graphic Design Boot Camp
Come learn about the basics of Graphic Design with SCAD graduate Alyssa Huntt! We’ll be learning about design principles, color theory, and how to use Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign through a number of exciting projects. This camp is great for beginners, novices, and those curious about design!

Campers will gain confidence, independence, basic culinary skills, and kitchen safety skills as they learn to prepare a few tasty, kid-friendly dishes. The students will get a chance to taste all of their creations!

Middle School Girls Soccer Camp
Master the fundamentals of soccer and prepare for the season next year! We will emphasize shooting, playing different positions, using correct placement, and learning the rules of the game. For all players, beginner to advanced. Led by Coach Kayla Marcum.

Topics to be covered include: Metric Conversions, Significant Figures, Scientific Notation, Dimensional Analysis, Gas Laws, Heat Curves/Specific Heat, and ACT Science Data and Graph Interpretation.

American Girl Camp
Come explore the adventures of American girls from colonial times to the present through crafting, games, and imaginative play with the dolls. Please bring your own 18 inch doll (does not have to be AG) All crafting supplies will be furnished.
