TSA Wrestling had a great start to the 2014-2015 season this week. The Varsity wrestlers took on FPD, Westside, and Central. Hunter Bass went 3-0 with a forfeit from FPD and a pin against both Westside and Central in the first round. Aaron Hilliard had a forfeit win against FPD and a pin in the first round against Westside and Central. Jesse Deal had a quick night winning by a pin in the first round against opponents from FPD, Westside and Central. Christian Rodgers had 2 pins vs FPD and Westside and a 12-2 win against a 220 pound wrestler from Central. All together Tattnall went 12-0 Macon area competitors.

TSA Middle School wrestlers went 4-0 against competition from Mount De Sales and Jones County. Kyle Johnson had a 9-0 win against MDS and a 10-0 win against a 106 pound opponent from Jones County. Antoine Davis pinned a 135 pound opponent from Jones County in 35 seconds to win his match. Tattnall newcomer Jackson Harmon had a 15-5 win against an 80 pound opponent from Jones County in his inaugural wrestling match.

Overall, the Trojans have had a wonderful start to the wrestling schedule.  Tattnall will be back on the mat Friday, December 19, at home against Central and Stratford before traveling to Northside in Warner Robbins on the December 20 to take on some of the best competition in AAAAA in the Eagle Classic!
