Tattnall Square is proud to announce the addition of Coach Dresden Muncy and Coach Robert Ochieng to the Tattnall Square Academy coaching staff. Coach Muncy will assume the role of Head Girls Soccer Coach while Coach Ochieng will serve as the Head Boys Soccer Coach and Head Cross Country Coach for the Trojans.
“We are excited about the additions of Coach Muncy and Coach Ochieng. Their leadership will continue to move our soccer and cross country programs forward into the upcoming school year,” commented TSA Athletic Director, Todd Whetsel.
A graduate of Cedarville University in Ohio, Coach Muncy was a four year letter winner on the women’s soccer team while she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and a minor in Bible. Muncy has extensive experience as both a soccer coach as well as a physical trainer for soccer athletes. Most recently, Coach Muncy served as a Pro Performance Trainer utilizing her expertise and various certifications to lead off-site training for soccer athletes at top high schools in the Cincinnati area. Additionally, she worked with several Division I athletes including one of the newest additions to the U.S. Women’s National Soccer Team.
Coach Robert Ochieng has most recently served as Tattnall’s head coach for the middle school soccer teams and assistant coach for the varsity soccer teams. His soccer career at Shorter University earned him All Conference status for four years, a National Player of the Week title, and an All American Honorable Mention in 2013. Coach Ochieng has also served as a coach and manager for SAF U15 Traveling Soccer Team, North Georgia United, and the YMCA in Rome, Georgia.
A meet and greet for players, supporters, and parents is scheduled for May 20 with more information to follow.
