Tattnall Square Academy is proud to announce that David Dozier has been chosen as our 2014 STAR student. The STAR student is a senior with the highest overall SAT score including the Critical Reading, Math, and Writing sections of the SAT in one sitting.  This student must also be in the top 10% or among the top 10 students of his/her class. David has only taken the SAT one time; what an accomplishment!

In addition, every STAR student has the honor of choosing a STAR teacher who will attend the recognition and awards banquet with them.  David has chosen Mrs. Lynne Adams as his STAR teacher.  She has taught David in AP American Literature and is currently teaching him in Joint Enrollment English 1101/1102. Also, David credits Mrs. Adams for his exceptional preparation, which enabled him to do so well on the SAT.

We wish David the best of luck as he competes against each STAR student from every public and private school in Bibb County. The Bibb County STAR student award will be presented on February 18 at Middle Georgia State College.  Congratulations, David, on being named Tattnall’s 2014 Star Student! We can’t wait to see the plans God has for you!
