The Macon-Bibb Fire Department’s second annual contest, held at Central Georgia Technical College, included students from public and private schools throughout Bibb County.

“Students have a class on fire safety led by Lt. Kicklighter once a month.  I asked all of our students to write a paper and then memorize it to give in class and I would pick two students to represent Tattnall at the competition.  Carys Fonner and Avery were our winners. They did so well, ” remarked fifth grade teacher, Melia Foxworth.
