Congratulations to Tattnall’s Reading Bowl Team for placing 2nd in the regional competition this past Saturday.  Members include: Savannah Brown, Jacob Bridgeman, Dalton Ford,
Ben Barwick, Colleen Molton, Anisha Goswami, William Stubbs and Macey Roberts.  The team is given a list of twenty books that were nominated as this year’s Georgia Children’s Book Award.  By December, students begin “quiz bowl” type rounds to determine which students will be on the team of five team members and five alternates.  The Regional meet
consisted of eight teams representing both public and private schools in the Middle Georgia RESA area.

TSA’s Reading Bowl Team will advance to the Division II meet to be held in Statesboro on February 23.  This competition will include teams from the southern half of Georgia.
