Ashleigh Owens signed with Georgia Southwestern today in front of her family, coaches, teammates, and peers. She will join GSW as Tattnall Square Academy’s first Cross Country signee in the school history. Ashleigh has 25 career top 10 places with 10 earning her a spot in the top 5 runners. She has been named All-Region for 5 years, and has been named top female runner twice.
Ashleigh is also an accomplished member of the swim and track teams at TSA. She has consistently qualified for several State swimming meets over the years and was named GISA All-State in Medley and Free Relay her Junior year.
Ashleigh was named All-Region Track in grades 8-11 with 1st place finishes in the 2-mile and 1-mile during her freshman and sophomore years. She was also named All-State Track in her freshman and sophomore years winning the Coaches Award for Best Runner three years in a row.
Ashleigh is an active member in the student ministry at Northway Baptist Church and has been a part of the Tattnall family since 5th grade. Congratulations Ashleigh!
