neufeld, niCongratulations to Miss Nicki Leigh Neufeld for being selected as our first “Teacher of the Month” for the 2014-15 school year. Miss Neufeld has called TSA her home for several years now, and has become a vital member of the Tattnall Square Academy staff. While Tattnall students have the opportunity to study Physical Science and Biology under Miss Neufeld in the classroom, faculty and staff at TSA benefit from her unwavering dedication to classroom technology training.

Early last school year, Miss Neufeld was chosen to serve on the Technology Committee at Tattnall. Comprised of 5 faculty members, the Technology Committee ushered Tattnall faculty and staff into the forefront of the digital classroom. While each member of the committee brings their own individual qualities to the team, Miss Neufeld’s dedication, patience, and persistence earned her an astounding amount of support from her peers when it came time for Teacher of the Month nominations.

“She is a great teacher who is always optimistic and has a smile on her face no matter the situation. Miss Neufeld is a pro at engaging her students through technology and is one of the hardest working teachers I have ever seen. She is dedicated to exposing her students to the latest technologies and science news. She always puts others first, and she is a great Christian role model for her students.” commented a fellow teacher and Tattnall family member.

Miss Neufeld earned a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Wesleyan College. In 2011, she earned her Master of Arts in Teaching from Georgia College and State University. She is currently in her eighth year of teaching and her third year at Tattnall.
