Congratulations to Tattnall’s math teams as they brought home two first place trophies and 1 third place trophy on Saturday at the Rockdale Math Meet. The varsity team of William Jackson, Joseph Thublin, Marianna Sumrall, Audrey Green, Abigail Deese and Sarah Beth Hankinson won 1st place in the GISA. The junior varsity team of Loftin Whiddon, Jack Haughawout, Abby Hinson, Rebecca Winget, Calvin Brindley and Austin Sewell won 1st place in the GISA. The Middle School team of Emily Mixon, Pierce Dozier, Riley Roberts, Sarah Beth Heath, Hunter Martin and Kristen Johnson won 3rd place in the GISA and was only 9 points away from a first place victory.

The teams’ performance marks the start of what could be another championship season. TSA’s varsity team has taken the GISA State title for the past three years.
