Miles Benson, new to the Tattnall family, is serving as the director of bands in his first year as a teacher. A 2014 graduate of the University of Georgia, Miles completed a B.A. in Music Education and Music Therapy and graduated Cum Laude.
While attending UGA, Miles performed with the Redcoat Marching Band in addition to a number of other musical ensembles. During the last year, Miles completed an intensive internship in the Fulton County School System in order to complete his music therapy degree, using music as a tool to increase skills in students with disabilities.
Miles joins the Tattnall staff with a great deal of enthusiasm for band and a huge interest in implementing other performance mediums such as jazz, guitar, and praise.
