Congratulations to William Jackson, a senior at Tattnall Square Academy, for being named STAR student.  This honor goes to the senior with the highest SAT score at one test date who is also in the top 10% or among the top 10 students of his/her class.  Jackson chose Otto Rietnauer, Latin and Drama instructor, as his STAR teacher.  Mr. Reitnauer has taught William Latin I and II and is presently teaching him Latin III Honors.  The two will be honored at Bibb County’s STAR Student/Teacher Banquet on February 19 where William will compete for a Region STAR student award.
