Edwin Cook has been named the new boys’ basketball coach at Tattnall Square Academy.   Coach Cook is a graduate of Georgia College and State University, with a B.B.A and Performance Based Certificate in Health and P.E.   With twenty-five years as a teacher and coach, Coach Cook brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to TSA.  He was the Head Boys’ Basketball Coach at Bulloch Academy, where he led the team to Back to Back Region Titles.  He also coached the tennis team to the GISA State Championship.  Moving on to John Milledge Academy, he coached the boys and girls basketball teams, posting successful seasons and reaching the AAA Final 4.  At Gatewood School and while coaching three sports, Coach Cook served as assistant coach to help achieve perfect 58-0 record with basketball.  Coaching Brentwood to a state basketball title helped to round out his impressive and established record.

Coach Cook and his wife, Karen, are no strangers to Macon. Karen teaches 5th grade at McKibben Lane Elementary School.  They are the proud parents of Morgan, a sophomore at the University of Georgia, and Madison, a senior at Tattnall Square Academy.

Thank you in advance for the support we know will be given to our new Head Boys’ Basketball Coach. We look forward to beginning a new school year with another new face to continue TSA’s path to excellence.
