MACON, Ga., March 9, 2018 – Tattnall Square Academy’s Ecology Action Club was presented with the Litter Prevention Award at the annual Keep Macon-Bibb Beautiful Commission Volunteer Appreciation and Awards Luncheon Friday, March 9. This award is given to the business that sets a high standard in the prevention and control of litter in the community and is presented by the Keep Macon-Bibb Beautiful Commission. Ecology Action Club President Jacob Bridgeman, Vice-President Brooke Reno along with Sponsor Candace Bridges accepted the award.

“I am so proud of these students for giving back to the community with such enthusiasm. These experiences have already impacted how they view litter in the community and makes them want to strive to be better local and global citizens,” expressed Candace Bridges.
