Dingmore,JWe are proud to announce Mrs. Jana Dingmore as the January Teacher of the Month! Mrs. Dingmore was selected by her peers because she is always willing to do whatever is needed for Tattnall to be the Best of the Best. She is notorious for staying late to assist her students, organizing and inspiring student life activities, and bringing a spiritual aspect into her classroom every day. Mrs. Dingmore is considered to be a mentor, a motivator, and a confidant by her students while also serving as a true partner to TSA parents.

“Students who enter Mrs. Dingmore’s classroom are challenged to grow not only in their mastery of the English language but also in their relationship with the Lord. Over and over again, I have had parents tell me that their children’s Bible class this year has been so amazing and that their children come home and tell them about how Mrs. Dingmore’s class has just blown them away!” remarked a fellow faculty member.

A Texas native, Mrs. Dingmore graduated from Texas A & M University with a bachelor’s degree in Education Curriculum and Instruction specializing in English and History. She taught British and American Literature in Texas for eight years before she chose to stay home with her children for several years. After moving to Macon, she taught one year at Covenant Academy before joining the Tattnall Square Academy staff in 2010. Jana is married to Jerry, who is the pastor of Piedmont Church. They have been married for 20 years, and they have three children: Kenzie, Colton, and Asher, all of whom are students at Tattnall. Congratulations on your selection, Mrs. Dingmore!
