Plan for 2020-2021 School Year

Dear Tattnall Family,

Your Leadership Team has had ongoing discussions and planning sessions regarding the start of the upcoming school year, and we are looking forward to seeing you on August 13. In the links below, you will find documents that further clarify our current plans and expectations.

While we are hopeful that all students will resume traditional education on August 13, we realize your specific circumstances may dictate otherwise. Therefore, you will see that we will provide an Off-Campus Learning opportunity. For those interested in getting more information about Off-Campus Learning, you may contact: [email protected] (K3-5) or [email protected] (6-12). Standard tuitions rate will apply for both On-Campus and Off-Campus Learning options.

As we monitor this ever changing and fluid situation, we will continue to provide detailed information to our families through the new TSA Learning Plan Website. Please know that we are reviewing best practices daily as well as similar plans from around the country. We acknowledge that no plan is perfect and feel our plan offers us the opportunity to resume school and keep our students and faculty safe while on campus. We have had daycare, numerous camps, and athletic practices over the summer and thankfully have had few issues with the virus. We will continue to take proactive steps to ensure our students’ safety and will continue to amend our plans to best address our specific needs and unique challenges.

Masks have been ordered this week, and we will contact you when they arrive so you can pick them up at your convenience. We feel wearing masks will give us the best opportunity to provide a safe environment for school. We will be mindful of how and when masks will be worn for our younger students. In our TSA COVID Safety Plan, further details about mask requirements and personal mask preferences can be found. Again as this situation is fluid, we will reevaluate requirements and recommendations for masks and adjust accordingly.

After reviewing the links below, we understand that you may have additional questions at this point; therefore, we want to provide you with an opportunity to ask. On our new website dedicated to our learning plan, you should find an Ask Troy page where you may submit your specific inquiry as well as find answers to frequently asked questions. Our Leadership Team will make every effort to answer your questions in a timely manner, and we may include some commonly asked questions within our next communication.

We hope that you and your family remain healthy and safe for the remainder of the summer. We close today with Romans 15:13 which states “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.”

We look forward to seeing you soon.
