Congratulations to the 2018 Geography Bee Champion, Katie Bankston (7th grade). Boone Fyke earned the title of first runner-up in the school competition. Fyke is a fifth grade student who has been a member of the Tattnall family since K4.

Students in grades 4 through 8 are eligible to participate in this annual event. Each grade level conducts a preliminary round in class to determine the top two finalists from each grade level.

The Geography Bee consists of various rounds of extremely challenging World Geography questions. Bankston, the school champion, will complete a written exam for a chance to advance to the regional competition.

Congratulations to all of our participants in this year’s Geography bee: Rhett Lumley, Asa Scott (4th grade), Boone Fyke, William Stuart (5th grade), Brody Ashley, Hunter Massey (6th grade), Katie Bankston, Kate Moore (7th grade), Jake Hilliard, and Benjamin Stubbs (8th grade).
