2010 State Brackets

Feb 27, 2010:  Tattnall falls to Deerfield-Windsor 56 - 41 in the finals of the GISA AAA State Tournament.  The Trojans finish the year at 20 - 8.  Great season men!  Macon Telegraph Coverage of State Finals 

Feb 25, 2010:  Tattnall beats Mt. Vernon on Smelter's put-back at the buzzer!  The Trojans will play for a State Title on Saturday against Deerfield-Windsor.   (Macon Telegraph's Coverage)

Feb 20, 2010:  Tattnall defeats Pinecrest  to reach the Final Four of the GISA State Tournament.  The Trojans will play Mount Vernon at 8:30pm on Thursday, February 25th on the campus of Georgia College and State University.   Macon Telegraph Story

Feb 18, 2010:  Tattnall beats Westminster 43 - 41 in the 1st Round of the GISA Tournament.  The Trojans face Pinecrest at 6:00pm at Stratford in Round 2.  The winner will advance to the Final Four in Milledgeville next Thursday.  

Feb 13, 2010:  REGION CHAMPIONS!  Tattnall defeated Mt de Sales 59-53 to claim the Region Title.  It marks the 3rd consecutive year that Tattnall has won the region championship.  The win also give Tattnall the #1 seed entering the state tournament.  The Trojans will play Westminster at Stratford at 8:30pm on Thursday, Feb 18th.

 

Feb 9, 2010:  Tattnall advances to the championship game against Mt de Sales.  The Trojans defeated FPD 54 - 32 to set-up the championship showdown.

Feb 5, 2010:  Tattnall clinched the #1 in the Region Tournament with a win over FPD.

Feb 2, 2010:  PINKED OUT!  Tattnall defeats Stratford 47 - 46 to remain in 1st place.

Jan 29, 2010:  Tattnall's long region winning streak was snapped by Mt de Sales.  The Trojans had a streak of 24 consecutive region wins during the regular season dating back to the 2006 - 2007 season and a 22 consecutive game winning streak over region opponents (including tournament play).  Tattnall remains in a first place tie with MDS.
