GISA STATE CHAMPIONS:1988, 1989, 1990, 1994, 1995, 1997, 1998, 2001, 2006, 2007
9-6-2010: Hunter Wilkinson is named Lineman of the Week by the Macon Touchdown Club for his efforts against Pinewood this past Friday night.
9-3-2010: Tattnall cruises to a 35 - 6 win over Pinewood. Andrew Parker and John Rader each went over a 100 yards rushing, and the defense held Pinewood under 100 yards total.
8-26-2010: Lightning may not strike in the same place twice, but it sure seems to be following the Tattnall Football Team. For the second game in a row, lightning and severe weather shortened a football game. This time the stoppage came at the end of the 3rd quarter with Westfield leading 14-0. GISA rules state that any non-region game suspended because of severe weather will be declared a complete game if the stoppage occurs after the 1st half, thus giving Westfield a game shortened victory.
8-20-2010: Tattnall's season opener against Southwest Georgia was cancelled due to lightning with the Trojans leading 14 - 0 with 4:16 to go in the first half. The game will not be made-up.
Coaching Milestone: Coach Barney Hester is closing in on 300 hundred career wins. Coach Hester currently stands at 298. He is in his 29th year with Tattnall. 282 of his coaching victories have been with the Trojans.
