Tattnall Square Academy - Media Center

Welcome!

The mission of the Tattnall Square Academy Media Center is to provide an environment where students and faculty are empowered to become life-long learners and effective users of information, ideas, and technology.

Our center is equipped with many different resources to provide for a variety of needs. The elementary section includes picture books, chapter books, reference selections, and a reading room for students to enjoy. The high school section includes a wide variety of fiction and non-fiction books, as well as a seperate reference section. The periodical center has a number of magazines and newspapers for students to explore. The technology center consists of twelve computers open for students to use independently. There are also four additional computer labs located throughout the school for class instruction.

Our hours are 7:30-4:00 (M-R) and 7:30-3:30 (Friday).

Elementary students may check out 1 book at a time.

Middle and high school students may check out 2 books at a time.

Books are due after 1 week but may be renewed for longer if needed.

All students are encouraged to use the library resources to help them with homework, projects, and/or reports both before school, after school, and during regular hours.

Students in grades K4-5th have a scheduled time

in the center each week as follows:

Tuesday: 3rd and 5th (centers)

Wednesday: 1st (storytime)

Thursday: K4 and K5 (storytime)

Friday: 2nd and 4th (centers)
