Ms. Heather Miller, Band Director

Ms. Miller is currently in her fourth year of teaching at TSA.  She graduated cum laude with special honors in music from Jacksonville State University.  Miller is a member of Tara Winds, one of the premier community bands in the United States, and enjoys tooting her horn with Tabernacle Baptist Church in Macon as well as First Baptist of Atlanta. Miller also is chair of GISA's High School All Select as well as host of GISA's Middle School All Select in 2009.  In her free time Ms. Miller enjoys shopping and traveling.  Miller has joined with others from Global Missions Project on a trip Brazil to be a musician for Christ!    She is excited to be leading such a dedicated group of young people.

Grafton Tanner , Percussion Arranger

Grafton is a senior at TSA and is president of Student Coucil.  He has been percussion captain and band captain for several years and has also been selected numerous times for principal positions on the district and region level.  Under his leadership the percussion section has grown musically, earning several Best in Class Percussion titles.  In 2008, Grafton was awarded a spot in the GMEA All State Symphonic Band.
