Elementary Football & Cheer Registration

Registration for the 2017 TSA Elementary Football program is now underway! This league is open to children in grades 1-6. Tattnall and non-Tattnall students alike are encouraged to join the league to learn fundamentals of tackle football, sportsmanship, and teamwork!

Registration will last through August 16. Equipment will be issued at tryouts on Saturday, August 19. For additional information contact Todd Whetsel at [email protected].

Wednesday, August 16th – Registration ends

Saturday, August 19th – Athletic Complex- Evaluation, Issue Equipment

Mites- 9:00 a.m.

Juniors-10:30 a.m.

Seniors-12:00 p.m.

Monday, August 21st– 1st practice from 6 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.-Soccer Field

Tuesday, September 5th – Pictures and Jamboree

Friday, September 20th- Elementary Football Night

Pictures will be prior to the games and a game schedule will be available

after teams are set.

Elementary Cheerleading Squad

While our elementary football players learn the fundamentals of tackle football, girls in grades K5-6 have the opportunity to learn the basics of sideline cheering! Be sure to let our sponsors know if a sibling is playing football so your cheerleader can cheer for his team! Cheerleaders will learn several different cheers and chants from varsity cheerleaders and parent volunteers, and perform at school wide pep rallies during football season. The cost to participate is $90 and includes a uniform and pom poms. Uniform fittings are in the Athletic Complex on Saturday, Aug. 19 at 9 a.m. Go Trojans!
