Congratulations to the 2017 Geography Bee Champion, Pathik Desai. Pathik is an eighth grade student who has been a member of the Tattnall family since K4. Charlie Morris (7th Grade) earned the title of first runner-up in the school competition.

Students in grades 4 through 8 are eligible to participate in this annual event. Each grade level conducts a preliminary round in class to determine the top two finalists from each grade level.

The Geography Bee consists of various rounds of extremely challenging World Geography questions. Desai, the school champion, will complete a written exam for a chance to advance to the regional competition. This is Pathik’s second time winning the championship title at the Geography Bee. In 2014, Desai won the school title as a 5th grade student.

Congratulations to all of our participants in this year’s Geography bee: Olivia Gilliam, Ethan Davis (4th grade), Jonah Bridgeman, Anna Hilliard (5th grade), Carsen Gibson, Robert Dopson (6th grade), Kathryn Bridges, Charlie Morris (7th grade), Pathik Desai, and Camden Ford (8th grade).
